Learning With Clear Minds
One of the most important things we can do is to give our children every opportunity to develop their own clear thinking minds. One of the ways we can do this is through teaching them in a focused and fun way.
Mrs Ward offers specialist, individual tuition in the Drama Den to children who are experiencing difficulties in any areas of literacy and/or numeracy. With specialist study of Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia and over 30 years of teaching in both these fields, individual programmes of work are tailored to each pupil in a relaxed environment.
Mr Ward offers 1-1 tuition in Maths up to GCSE level and ICT up to A-level. His experience in teaching teenagers and young adults over many years at secondary level and also at the South Eastern Regional College means that he is fully up to date with the currect syllabi. The new SEAG papers use the mathematical format from the standardised tests.
Mr Ward addresses this problem solving approach using practical resourses and repitition of problem solving strategies. A bespoke approach to the Literacy element of the test has resulted in excellent outcomes with previous P7 students.
